About this event

The Asilomar Origins Tour is a free, guided walking tour that takes you through the historic heart of Asilomar, revealing its rich cultural and architectural heritage. The tour traces Asilomar's beginnings as a Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA) summer camp designed by trailblazing architect Julia Morgan in 1913.

You'll explore buildings originally built to host a high-school girls' camp aimed at supporting their intellectual, spiritual, physical, moral, and social health, and encouraging them to pursue college and careers.
