Ashley Soria, Sales Manager, of Asilomar Conference Grounds. Ashley is a San Jose State alumnus with a passion for hospitality sales. Denise Morton

Denise Morton is our new Senior Sales Manager for the Association Market. She has been in sales for all of her working career. Found her passion when starting in the hospitality industry as a catering manager seven years ago at a property in Morro Bay CA. She has worked in the Monterey area since 2012. She is active in CALSAE and a current ambassador for the Monterey County Hospitality Association MCHA. She was designated ambassador of the year for 2016. Germar Kelly

Germar Kelly, Director of Conference Services, at the Asilomar Conference Grounds holds a B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management, is a Certified Meeting Professional and is bi-lingual in Spanish. He comes with over 45 years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry with the last 17 in Conference Services Management. He is a versatile professional with proven skills in all aspects of meetings, event and trade shows and conference management. He has been recognized for his superior strength in relationship management and customer service skills. He enjoys spending time at the beach and traveling with his family. Jill Heymsfield

Jill Heymsfield, Environmental Sustainability Coordinator at Asilomar Conference Grounds, has a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management from the University of Queensland, in Brisbane, Australia. She spent her first few years out of college working in, and being inspired by, National Parks and protected areas. Her specialty is in how to incorporate sustainability and conservation practices within business operations. Lauren Ross

Lauren Ross is our Sales Manager for small groups, markets of 10-25 rooms and all Family Reunions. Lauren has been with Asilomar since 2016. Lindsay Brooks

Lindsay Brooks, Conference Manager, of Asilomar Conference. She has a degree in Communications from CSU, Chico. For the past ten years has worked at Crowne Plaza, Marriott and Omni hotels where she executed the planning of conferences from 10-2200 attendees. Lindsay works with each meeting planner to plan out the details of their conference. She ensures flawless events for both the clients and the hotels. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her mini-poodle, Sophie and going to Sacramento to spend time with her niece and nephews.

Natascha von Thiele

As the Event Coordinator for Asilomar Conference Grounds, Natascha helps plan special events to perfection. When she’s not coordinating your next event, you’re likely to find her kayaking on the beautiful Monterey Bay or relaxing on the beach with a book. Natascha is an active volunteer in the community and advocate for educating and motivating youth, to protect, and sustain the environment.

Tim McGill

Timothy McGill, Director of Sales & Marketing for the Asilomar Conference Grounds, holds a B.S. in Hotel & Restaurant Administration from Western Kentucky University. He has been a DOSM with Hilton Hotels, Wyndham, Starwood and independent hotels for over 40 years. He has a wide array of experience in all hotel markets inclusive of Associations, Incentive, Corporate, Business Travel & the Religious/Spiritual for properties located in resorts, urban and suburban locations. Vanessa Parra, Marketing Manager, of Asilomar Conference Grounds holds a B.S. in Graphic Communication from CAL POLY, San Luis Obispo, CA. She comes with experience in Marketing & Sales.
