Lodging Information & Policies

Deposit of one night’s stay plus tax is due at the time of booking. Remaining balance must be paid at check in, and a credit card authorization is required to guarantee incidental charges.

Lodging reservation cancel policies are rate specific and can be viewed by clicking on the rate name when availability returns. Cancellations and changes made outside of the cancel policy will receive a full refund. Cancellations and changes within the cancel policy will result in a full forfeit of the deposit

Dates of stay for a reservation may be changed based on current availability. Your reservation is subject to a new rate for new dates of stay. Any changes made to your reservation may result in a rate change and payment due upon arrival.

Pets are not permitted in any building at Asilomar nor are they permitted to stay or sleep in any vehicle parked on the Asilomar Grounds. Service animals are permitted. Pets are permitted on Asilomar State Beach and must be leashed at all times.

Asilomar Conference Grounds is a non-smoking facility. This includes all buildings, public rooms and restrooms. 

All reservations are subject to local, state, and federal taxation.

Rates include:  
$12.00 Facility Fee 
$2.50 Tourism Fee 

All rates are based on double occupancy. Additional charges apply for all extra persons aged 13 and older. 

To preserve the retreat atmosphere at Asilomar, there are no telephones in the guest rooms. House phones are located at each building for in-house calls, and public telephones are located throughout the grounds and in the Phoebe A. Hearst Social Hall. Cell phones work in the area. Free wireless Internet access is available in all guest rooms and the Social Hall. Ask the Front Desk for username and password.

Complimentary guest parking is available.

Cribs are available upon request FREE of charge however they are not allowed in Historic Rooms.
